Welcome to my gallery of the cat folks; this is a world I love to work in, using pastels, pencil and mixed media.
In this world, I hope to share and bring about the sense of wonder and mystery, the adventure and curiosity, and the laughter for all to share.
I hope that if even one person finds inspiration or laughter, a good thought, or even a new way of expression, they will continue onward.
To laugh, and wonder, to be curious and inspired is to live and love. It is to be alive in all of the fullness of the world, mind, body and soul. Anyone visiting my gallery for the first time I do new works about every three or four weeks; and have recently rearranged many of them to make it easier for finding selected ones.
The newest are always on the first page for a few weeks, along with occasional other peices I feel people may wish to look upon.

Extending and contemporizing the tradition of painting for over a decade I attempt to bring together tragic and compassionate images to achieve harmony. The imagery articulates a vision of my observations of the world as I chronicle ways in which people assimilate within tragic events. Violence leaves us alienated and disturbed, and yet, paradoxically brings us closer together.
Depictions of violence are formed with sensuousness of the painterly process.
Formal techniques allow detachment from the dismal content to achieve the state of impartiality and artistic objectivity. The process and the final message of the images strive to unify in the end.
